The most popular way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day Saturday is by wearing green.
But get extra festive by eating or drinking something green, too.
For the traditional Irish holiday, restaurants are turning everything green from doughnuts to beer.
Or just save some “green” — some serious cash — Saturday by taking advantage of specials.

Arby’s: The mint chocolate shake, topped with Andes candy pieces, is available for a limited time.
Bakers Square: Get a slice of Mint Brownie Blast pie.
Bar Louie: The bar chain will have green beer and Jameson specials Saturday.
Baskin-Robbins: Get a free sample of the Mint Chip ‘n Oreo Cookies Milkshake from 3-7 p.m. Saturday. The chain also has a St. Patrick’s Day cake complete with green icing, a rainbow and pot of gold.
Bennigan’s: St. Patrick’s Day is a month-long party with green beer and special menu items like Reuben fritters, corned beef and cabbage plus drinks including an Irish Mule.
Carvel: It’s “Mintertime” at the ice cream chain with mint ice cream, shakes and Oreo Mint Dashers available for a limited time. Plus, download a printable coupon, which expires Sunday, for $2 off the St. Patrick’s Day Cookie O’Puss cake along with a Cookie O’Puss mask.
Chevys Fresh Mex: Shamrock-a-ritas are $10.99 through March 31 and are available frozen or on the rocks.
Culver’s: The chain has a mint and a mint chip shake, plus expect many locations’ custard flavor of the day Saturday to be a green one. Find locations’ flavors of the day at www.culvers.com/flavor-of-the-day.
Chili’s: Through March 31, the $5 specialty margarita of the month is The Lucky Jameson, which is the chain’s Irish spin on a margarita.
Chompie’s: The Arizona-based New York-style deli will have Leprechaun cupcakes, green and white cookies, green beer and green bagels Saturday. Plus, the deli will have a corned beef and cabbage dinner.
Creamisty: Friday through Sunday, get 10% off any mint-flavored treat including custom ice cream, Creation, NitroShake and pints.
Dairy Queen: The St. Patrick’s Day-inspired Mint Oreo Blizzard is available for a limited time.
Dunkin’ Donuts: For a limited time, get the green-frosted Mint Brownie Donut. Plus, through 4:59 p.m. ET Saturday enter the Lucky Dozen contest for a chance to win a year’s worth of free doughnuts or the grand-prize trip to company headquarters in Boston. According to a news release and the contest rules, enter by sharing how you’re “celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with Dunkin’ Donuts” using #DDLuckyDozen and #Sweepstakes on Twitter and Instagram.
Fuddruckers: For a limited time, get the mint chocolate chip shake.
Gigi’s Cupcakes: Through Saturday, get a Shamrock Box with six decorated vanilla and six devil’s food mini cupcakes or get a chocolate stout cupcake topped with Irish cream frosting and green shamrocks.
Green Harvest: The St. Patrick’s Day-themed bread collection includes Irish Soda Bread, the Gouda and Stout Bread and Paddy’s Lucky Loaf. Plus, there will be green shamrock sugar cookies and an Irish-American Reuben.
Kings Dining & Entertainment: St. Patrick’s Day specials include green beer and a Pot of Gold milkshake made with mint chocolate chip ice cream. The Miami location also has a green mojito.
Krispy Kreme: The iconic Original Glazed doughnut is going green for two days —Friday and Saturday.
Logan’s Roadhouse: Corporate locations will have green beer through Sunday.
Mimi’s Café: Corned beef brisket hash and eggs will be available all-day Saturday. For lunch and dinner, get a corned beef and cabbage entree for lunch or dinner along with a green beer.
Ninety Nine Restaurant: A special St. Patrick’s Day menu includes green beer, Jameson Irish Mule, Irish Reuben burger, Pot O’Gold Wings, Irish coffee and more.
O’Charley’s: Get green Miller Lite beers Friday and Saturday. Plus, participating locations also will have $4 house margaritas for the two days.
PDQ: Mint Oreo shakes are $2 Saturday at all locations.
Rita’s Italian Ice: Get your green with a mint chip gelati.
Ruby’s Diner: March’s “Shake of the Month” is the minty Grasshopper Shake blended with Oreo cookies.
TGI Fridays: Through Sunday, Fridays has a “Lucky Line-Up” of bar specials including a Pot O’ Gold cocktail, Rainbow Shot along with specials on green beer and Jameson Irish Whiskey shots.
Village Inn: Mint Brownie Blast pie is available for a limited time.
Wawa: For a limited time, the convenience store chain has two special green doughnuts — shamrock-shaped and mint chocolate — plus “Pot of Gold” coffee drinks, which include sweet and salted caramel, plus shamrock green sprinkles on top.
Irish specials and lucky deals
It should be a given that corned beef and cabbage will be a special for many restaurants Saturday, which also is National Corned Beef and Cabbage Day.
Applebee’s: Special items available Saturday include $5 Irish coffee, the whisky bacon burger and hand-battered fish and chips. These specials are available at participating locations in Florida and Georgia.
California Tortilla: This is an early St. Patrick’s Day deal. With any purchase Friday, get a free small chips and queso when you ask for a “pot o’ gold” when placing your order.
Bokamper’s Sports Bar & Grill: The Florida-based chain is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day through March 31 with a chance to win a trip for two to Ireland. Get a contest entrywhen you purchase a Tullamore D.E.W. Irish Whiskey and a Guinness together for $9.99. Also on Saturday, locations will have a corned beef and cabbage meal for $17.99.
Champps Kitchen + Bar: The chain will have corned beef and cabbage and Reuben sandwiches Saturday. And through March 31, get $6 Irish Car Bombs and $5 Jameson shots.
Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants: Try corned beef sliders for $12.99 or a corned beef and cabbage meal for $18.99.
Cracker Barrel: Through Saturday, the chain will serve corned beef with cabbage, carrots, potatoes and buttermilk biscuits or corn muffins.
Duffy’s Sports Grill: It’s a two-day St. Patrick’s Day celebration Friday and Saturday with $4 Guinness Pints and a $12.95 corned beef and cabbage meal. Cocktails, wine and beer also are two for one.
Fox & Hound: The chain will have corned beef and cabbage and Reuben sandwiches Saturday. Through March 31, get $6 Irish Car Bombs and $5 Jameson shots.
